lemon juice does help to an extent to get rid of the scars but it wil also worsen any acne if u hav.. so my suggestion is tomato pulp.. fresh tomato pulp tht is.. just apply it and let it dry and then wash it off.. i hav gotten rid of some nasty acne scars myself a couple of frends hav tried and has worked for them too.. it was suggested by my beautician... so u can b rest assured tht it works... the best part is tht it also gives ur skin a glow.. and evens out ur complexion.. but b regular with it for it to work...Acne scars lemon juice help?
i dont think lemon is the way to go. lemons contain high acidic content with dries out your skin. note how bartenders get really cracked hands when they slice lemons and limes (i work at a bar) moisture is key. lots of aloe
Lemon juice is a mild bleaching agent and will not affect the pitting. It does not bleach skin, so if your scars are reddened or brown-tinged, it won't help. In fact, the acidity of lemon juice may irritate your skin.

If the scars are pretty bad, a dermatologist has treatment options, among them microdermabrasion, which in essence sands the skin to make it more level, and chemical peel, which removes a layer and its flaws. These are not something you can do at home.

So if you feel like you're disfigured by scarring, start saving up for professional treatment.
idk about lemon juice...

But cocoa butter helps them heal.

ouch! lemon juice won't really help much for scars (although pure juice is good for drying out pussy zits)

Try a repair cream like rose-hip oil or calandular cream. If you go to a good health-food shop they can recomend something suitable for your skin type.
coco butter is the way in time everyday.
Squeeze the lemon. (The stuff in the bottle is full of chemical and will irritate the skin) Just squeeze it and keep it in a bottle in the fridge. Use it as a toner at night.

Hope this helps!!!!
the kind squeezed from an actual lemon. i would also recommend using crushed irish potato skin.
Lemon juice mixed with rose water makes a wonderful tonic to be applied daily. You can also drink diluted lemon juice (add honey to taste) - it contributes to beautiful skin by helping your body get rid of toxins. Lime has a similar effect and can be used instead of lemon.Log on to http://tipsfromruby-acne.blogspot.com/ for a few home made tips to heal acne .
