i have got rid of my acne (woop) and now im left with red scaring around my face and i want to get rid of it asap! what do i use? will it get to a point when it becomes too late?How do you get rid of acne scars???

i had the same problem when i was a teenager, and i had to find ways to get rid of it myself.





you could try mederma, which is specifically made to put on scarring to help minimize it (not erase it). although, if you don't have a lot of money, it can be pretty pricey. you can get it at your local drug store: walgreens, wal-mart, riteaid, etc.





another option is cocoa butter. i wouldn't suggest using cocoa butter though if your face is oily, because it's a very thick and heavy which may cause break outs. however, if you have really dry skin, it can be used - just don't smear it all over your face or it may cause acne. i'd suggest just putting it on the spots.





lemon juice soaked on a cotton ball and applied to the scar can help, too.





just remember, there is no way of completely erasing a scar - just minimizing it.
I had the same problem. Even thoug my acne was gone it still looked like my skin had acne. What you do is get a scar removal cream (Like bio oil) make sure you talk to someone 1st to make sure it won't irritate your skin.





You can also go to a dermotologist, they will give you some tips.





If those two suggestions don't work. You could always do lazer sergery that will remove the scars (Which is what i did) it hurts, and it may be expensive..but trust me it does the job..

lemon juice works wonders! just buy a bottle of concentrated lemon juice, wash your face, and rub the lemon juice on. i 've been using it for 5 days, and the results are amazing! it stings just a little bit, but it's well worth it. and it may dry your skin out, too.. so just use once or twice a day.
Mederma, is a scar fading cream.You could try that or vitamin E.Or you could use i think its called clear skin or clearisil acne fading pads.Ive used a vitiamin E face wash and the clearing pads my scar is almost gone.
