i know im only 13(14 in 5 days!) but half the poeple i kno barley have any! ive tried using produts and washing my face but i end up getting more! HEEEEEEEELP!How do I get rid of acne/acne scars?!?
I am 19 now, but have had acne for the longest time. I am just now acne free (or almost). :) I too started when I was 13. I was unlucky. I had it so so sooo badly. The fact is, you can't beat acne. Don't worry about it. All you can do is fight is as best as possible. Time will eventually completely cure it. When your body is ready, it will eventually go away. The best advice I can give you is go see a Dermatologist (skin doctor). You would be so surprised how many people go for acne. He will give you prescription strength face medicine that should help you. If it doesn't, there are stronger doses that he will continue to prescribe. I used it for five years. You put it on before you go to bed. The medicine works wonders. The cream will dramatically help. A dermatologist is your best option. The sooner you contact him, the better the results you will have. The most important thing I learned is DO NOT PICK AT IT! This is how you get scars. DO NOT PICK AT IT! Let it run its course. If you get medicine from the Doctor, it will fade very quickly. Another thing, use medicine or facial scrubs excessively. Use only what is recomened, no less no more. Using too much medicine or scrubbing will rub your face raw (turn it red). I would suggest just using soap and your finger tips. Be gentle. Good luck and, believe me, talk to your parents about seing a dermatologist! How do I get rid of acne/acne scars?!?
I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.
Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.
You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.
Well good luck and best wishes.
It's really hard to help someone over the internet with their acne problem since everyone has different skin and I can't tell how bad your acne is or isn't.
But, a few tips for acne / acne scars are:
1. Don't pick at your pimples!
2. If you happen to pop one, put Neosporin or Polysporin on it. It will help with the healing.
3. Don't use harsh face washes. This will only irritate your skin more, which may cause it to break out.
4. Make sure all products you use (lotion, face wash, make-up) are OIL FREE and NON COMEDOGENIC.
If your acne is really bad, I suggest you see a dermatologist so that they can give you prescription creams/cleansers.
Oh, you can also try ProActiv or Murad (which is a less harsh acne treatment). Sephora sells Murad, and they have a starter kit which is cheaper so that you can try it out.
You can use lemon to help fade the scars. use a fresh lemon, squeeze some juice on a cotton ball. Apply where you have scars. You can leave it on overnight, but if you have sensitive skin rinse it off in 10 minutes. do twice a day, also you can do a honey mask every night. You warm some honey up, not to hot just warm. Apply to the skin and leave on for 15 minutes. Do this overnight. To see results you have to do this consistently. Hope i helped and good luck!
Hydroquinone. look for it at wal-mart or target in the ethnic care section labeled as ';skin fade cream'; or something to that effect. It's cheap and effective, and it's the same product as prescribed by dermatologists for acne scars.
Well, you could use the lemon juice. There's also bleaching creams for scars and you can get prescriptions for the acne. A good pill for helping acne is Minocycline. Go ask your doctor and he/she can tell you all about it.
Good luck!
:)
Wait to grow out of them. Your still young.
