What get's rid of acne scars?

i don't have much acne anymore, but my scars from acne of the past make me look ugly and like i still hove tons of acne, they're pink and obvious!

what scar treatments work on acne scars? does Mederma work? What get's rid of acne scars?
Eat healthier, and use hyrdroquione to vanish acne scars and marks on your face. What get's rid of acne scars?
If funds available, immediately see a doctor to prescribe Accutane to clear up current acne. Once clear, a series of laser treatments and chemical peels - ideally the Fraxel laser (will cost anywhere from 3-6 grand depending on # of treatments needed.) For immediate but not long lasting results... injectable fillers do the trick --- Restylane/Perlane, etc. available at a MediSpa or plastic surgeon. These will cost $800+/- per vile and only last 6-12 months - however, they do work wonders!

If money is tight, once your acne clears, try LiftFusion Face Lift (Sephora or Nordstrom $140) - it's made to target wrinkles and aging, however does wonders to 'plump' up the scarred area. It's only a temporary fix but does make a dramatic difference w/smoothing effect. Another great product is Perricone MD Ceramic Skin Smoother ($75) which fills lines %26amp; wrinkles beautifully, thus does the same for shallow scarring. It's light enough to wear without anyone noticing - natural look best if once dry, dust over the top with a light mineral makeup to help any discoloration you may have. Another excellent foundation alternative is Laura Gellar, Balance %26amp; Brighten Luminizer - leaves face looking natural - not 'made up'.

Good luck %26amp; remember science is always coming up with new techniques to target aging - which in return will help people get rid of any sort of facial scarring :)
you could try mederma, although it never worked for me. i used scarzone when i had scars on my arm. You can also use cocoa butter, it is supposably good for removing scars. Also vitamin E is good too. I would just look around a store for something that says scar removal, with cocoa butter and vitamin E. that is probably your best bet. I think it may be a good idea to use a facial scrub maybe to get rid of the dead skin first. If it makes you feel any better, scars tend to get lighter with time. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. Hope it works well =D
1. i heard about honey. that what i am trying.

2.lemon. it supposed to be natural bleach. this works great(i have tried) but stings a little.

3.vitamin E oil or cream. good for scars fade them away.

4. go to your doctor or a doctor and they can tell some good creams. my doc told me to use spectro jel in stead of soap. but know my new doc told me to use stievamycin. my cousin used it too and she has perfect skin now. no scars and acne.

go to www.acne.org has a bunch of different options. i just listed methods that i used or i heard of a lot
Mederma does work but not that great. I would try going to a dermatologist for laser treatments. they are pricey but very much worth it.
